13 su 13 per Herlings

MCon una doppia vittoria in Germania, Jeffrey Herlings ha battuto un nuovo record. Ha vinto la vittoria assoluta per il 13° GP consecutivo e ha così scritto la storia detronizzando "la leggenda". Jordi Tixier è arrivato secondo al Lausitzring e Glenn Coldenhoff è finalmente riuscito a salire sul podio per la prima volta nella sua carriera.

Nella prima serie, Herlings ha preso il comando dall'inizio alla fine. Christophe Charlier è arrivato secondo dopo essere riuscito a superare Dean Ferris solo nelle fasi finali. Ferris alla fine ha commesso un errore e ha tagliato il traguardo solo al nono posto. Terzo è arrivato Jordi Tixier seguito da Max Anstie e Glenn Coldenhoff.

Nella seconda manche la migliore partenza è stata di Jordi Tixier. Il francese è riuscito a tenere dietro di sé Herlings spingendolo ferocemente per quattro giri, ma alla fine ha dovuto lasciare andare l'olandese. C'è stato un duello per il secondo posto tra Tixier, Coldenhoff e Anstie, ma Anstie è caduto e ha fatto sì che il terzo posto di Coldenhoff fosse sufficiente per il primo podio della sua carriera.

Herlings ora ha 159 punti di vantaggio su Tixier in classifica e, se tutto andrà bene, vincerà il titolo a Loket il prossimo fine settimana.
